A Few Obsessions – Part Two

Life is sweeter when you share it with the people you love. Errr, something like that! And thus, I’m sharing a few of my favorite things with you today. Happy Friday!

Jen Hatmaker. Her books, her blogs, her hilarious social media posts, her “For the Love” podcasts and her love of all people. Not to mention her extremely logical outlook on all things life-related. Whether it’s politics, religion, fashion or friendship, I feel like she just gets it. She gets me, at least. I fully believe we could be best friends if we ever met in real life. And don’t think I didn’t invite her to dinner when my girlfriends and I went to hear her speak last fall. I absolutely did. 99 percent sure she just didn’t see it in time…

Noosa. I’m convinced that Noosa is the king of all yoghurts. Mostly because it’s more like a dessert than a yoghurt, and it’s so few calories for the whole carton! My ultimate fave flave (favorite flavor, if you’re not familiar with my yoghurt slang), is Coconut. It’s decadent and creamy and delightful! It’s great by itself, but also as a fruit dip of sorts. Other faves: Key Lime and Blackberry. And favorite SPICY flavors (that’s right, spicy yoghurt!) are Raspberry Jalapeno and Pineapple Habanero. Holy yum.

Fact: I’ve never spelled yogurt with an “h” before. But then I saw the Noosa site did, so I changed it. When did the “h” get added, or removed?! Why have I never realized this?!

Karaoke Microphones. There are several on the market, and they are super fun and awesome. You can pair them with your phone via Bluetooth and then play any song your heart desires, whether via YouTube, Spotify or iTunes. Crank up the echo for the best reverb affect and sing your little heart out. It’s wayyyy too much fun on any night of the week. (I can confirm that while this is most fun with others, solo-oke is also highly enjoyable.)

Kendra Scott. Oookay, we all know this one has been true for several years now, but I mean. Those jewels! Those designs! Those birthday month discounts! I love. And also, I was DEVASTATED to learn that Utah doesn’t have a Kendra Scott storefront, and thus I couldn’t get my annual two pairs of birthday earrings (because husband also gets that January discount). I know, I know, first world problems. But one of the things I love MOST about KS is their constant charitable giving. Such a genuinely philanthropic company. You have my heart forever. (But please please put orange back in the color bar…)

Parmesan Crisps/Whisps. So, a friend recently introduced these to me because I’m currently doing the Keto diet. (If you’re unfamiliar, you can basically eat meat, cheese, avocados AND NOTHING ELSE. Okay, that’s a tad dramatized (but not really). Point being, no eating chips or really any snack foods. If you’re anything like me and love a good Cheetoh or Cheez-It binge: Enter Parmesan Whisps. Pure parmesan cheese cooked into perfect little crispy cheesy bites. Thank me later.

Vistaprint. I’ve mentioned before my love for stationery, but Vistaprint is my go to for all things paper related. Christmas cards, baby shower invites, bridal shower invites, birthday party invites (I throw a lot of things that need invites…) all customizable and printed to perfection! The one time I had an issue with something (some faulty printing on some address labels – hey, these things happen), I wrote to them and almost immediately their customer service rep had a new batch in the mail to me, and they turned out great! LOVE a company who not only delivers quality products, but understands that customer service matters! (Bonus – they almost always have a stellar coupon/discount to add to your cart. 50% off custom notecards?! Yes, please!)

That’s all on the list for today! Check out one or two – I hope they improve your quality of life as much as they have mine.
